The lake stretches over a length of 11 km. The tourist resorts of Bodensdorf and Annenheim are on the north bank and the Gerlitzen rises above the lake and is populated by skiers in winter. - Summer tobogganing. A special pleasure, especially for children, is a ride on the summer toboggan run. A 760 meter long summer toboggan run is located in Ossiach. The summer toboggan run is open from mid-May to mid-September. The exact opening times change all the time, but it's definitely open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM (except when it rains). - hike. Both the Gerlitzen, on the north bank, and the Ossiacher Tauern, on the south bank, are ideal for long hikes. A Kanzelbahn travels up the Gerlitzen from Annenheim. - to ski. Of course, you can't ski right on Lake Ossiach, but you can Gerlitzen is a modern, popular ski area. There are two ways to get to the Gerlitzen. You can go up from Bodensdorf by car or you can park your car in Annenheim and take the Kanzelbahn up from there.
