Padborg (German Pattburg) is one Danish Border town on Jutland.
background
Padborg is right on the border with Germany. Closest cities are the German Flensburg, Sønderborg, Esbjerg, Åbenrå, Haderslev, Kolding, Fredericia, Odense and Vejle.
With the construction of the Flensburg – Fredericia railway line, the village came into being in the 19th century. When the German-Danish border was drawn, Padborg fell to Denmark. Padborg is known today as a forwarding location.
