- 1 Bakonyszentlászló (German: Laßldorf) (Pápa, Veszprém, Győr (direct trains) both 40 km away.). Sandy ancient pine forests, valleys and Cuha Ördögrét (lit. Devil's meadow), caves. Historical attractions, nature reserves. To stay: Several accommodation (mostly guesthouses). To 'Do': Hunting and also the area is a paradise for hikers and walkers.
- 2 Pannonhalma Archabbey (Pannonhalmi Bencés Főapátság). The white archabbey towering over the town was founded in 996 and is the world's second largest territorial abbey. A world heritage site, the complex includes a basilica with a 13th century crypt, cloisters, a refectory (dining room) and a large library and archives, a Benedictine school and a winery.
