Gyor is a big city in Hungary. The city has been nicknamed the City of water, or the city of Rivers, here the Raab and the Little Danube flow into the Danube. It is also a baroque city because the old part of the city contains dozens of monumental buildings and sculptures from the 18th century.

The railway line from Vienna to Budapest leads through the city. All trains, including Railjet and Euronight, that run between Vienna and Budapest stop in Gyõr. These Railjet come from Zurich, Salzburg, Munich or Frankfurt, so there is no need to change trains in Vienna.
