What to do
- 1 (delta das Americas). The Parnaíba Delta is a not very common phenomenon of nature and has a shape similar to an open hand, which branches out to form a large ecological sanctuary. It is an archipelago formed by the Parnaíba River that involves 73 river islands. During the navigation we enter the mangrove channels and its islets, to admire the migration of thousands of Guarà birds, or Red Ibis, with a characteristic fiery red color, which every evening, around 17-17: 30, return to their nests in the forest.

- Praia Pedra do Sal.
- 2 Porto das Barcas. Old port district built at the beginning of the last century to store goods to be exported to theEurope, today transformed into a historical and cultural center. 7,000 m² of restaurants, bars, galleries, hotels. Arts and fairs highlight the Portuguese colonial architectural collection, houses built with rough stones, oyster shells and whale oil are also found.
- 3 Ilha do Caju. One of the few places in Brazil where it is possible to have a broad view of biodiversity in a relatively small territory. This diversity is expressed in the rich fauna of wild animals such as armadillos, coties, maracajás cats, anteaters, toucans, deer, woodpeckers, herons, sea turtles, porpoises and much more!
- Illha das Canárias. One of the most beautiful and peaceful places on the north-east coast, part of an archipelago with 80 islands with endless dunes, mangroves, igarapé, crabs, alligators and countless birds.
