  • St. John the Baptist - the oldest temple in the city built in the Gothic style. The interior of the church is a mixture of styles. Art Nouveau polychrome is valuable. Noteworthy is the beautiful rose garden, painted on the shield wall, above the rainbow arch.
  • Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary - the founder of the church and monastery. Augustinians, now the property of the Carmelites, was Władysław Jagiełło. From the 9th century onwards, the famous painting of Our Lady of Consolation, located in the sanctuary, has become a part of the history of the settlement. The communal rumor is that it was the Virgin Mary from the painting in the fortified tower-chapel that saved the inhabitants from ruin many times. Władysław Łokietek, Kazimierz the Great's troop, Jadwiga and Władysław Jagiełło bowed their heads in front of the painting of the Pilzno Madonna.
