What see
- 1 Parish church of San Bartolomeo in Pomino. Mentioned in 1103 among the churches attributed to the diocese of Fiesole, despite some interventions from the 1930s, the Romanesque characters are still intact. The scheme has three naves with a single semicircular apse decorated by a recourse of rather roughly made arches, which contrasts with the perfect execution of many of the architectural details. The capital of the right column, decorated with angular anthropomorphic heads and rosettes, dates back to the 12th century. Inside there is a glazed terracotta from the workshop of Andrea della Robbia, la Crowned Madonna with Child, St Bartholomew and St Francis; and a fifteenth-century panel with the Madonna and Child with Saints attributed to the Master of San Miniato.

Created in the early 1970s, the Pomino DOC area includes the production of red and white wines, including the Holy wine. All grapes destined for the production of DOC wine must be harvested in a field with a maximum yield of 10.5 tons / hectare. The DOC red wine and the Vin Santo red is a blend of 60-75% Sangiovese, 15-25% Canaiolo, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet franc, 10-20% Merlot and up to 15% of other local red grape varieties, such as Abruzzo. The final product must contain a minimum alcohol content of at least 12% with an authorized Riserva bottling, provided that the minimum alcohol is at least 12.5% and the wine has spent three years of aging before release with at least 18 months of that period spent in the barrel.
The DOC white wine and the Vin Santo white it is a blend of 60-80% of Pinot blanc and / or Chardonnay, up to 30% of Trebbiano Toscano and no more than 15% of other local varieties. The minimum alcohol level of the final product must be at least 11%. Both the white and the red of Vin Santo are produced from grapes that have been dried after the harvest with the wine aging for at least three years in wooden barrels before being marketed. The wines can range in sweetness from dry to sweet as long as the minimum alcohol for all Vin Santi is at least 15.5%.
