Characteristic
Geography
The area of the poviat is characterized by numerous hills and glacial valleys. The climate of the region is moderate; with a predominance of westerly, north-westerly and northern winds. Due to the proximity and abundance of water reservoirs and a large area of forests, it is characterized by high air humidity.
There are a number of lakes in the Drawsko district, many small rivers and other natural watercourses that do not pose a flood risk flow through this area.
