Geographical notes
It borders the provinces of Ávila southwest, of Valladolid north-west, of Burgos north and of Soria to the north-east and with the Castile-La Mancha (Guadalajara province) and the autonomous community of Madrid to the southeast.

- 1 Ayllón
- 2 Cuéllar - Among its monuments, the Castle of Cuéllar stands out, but it also has medieval walls and many churches.
- El Espinar - At the foot of the Sierra de Guadarrama.
- 3 Pedraza - Village of about 350 inhabitants, still enclosed within mighty medieval walls. Two of the sons of the king of France, Francis I.
- 4 Real Sitio de San Ildefonso - Town of about 5,000 inhabitants, famous for its royal palace and the royal crystal factory of La Granja, established in the 18th century.
- 5 Segovia - Capital of the province.
- 6 Sepúlveda - With a lovely historic center, Sepúlveda appears in the list of the most beautiful villages in Spain and is also famous for its gastronomy which includes delicious dishes such as grilled lamb meats (Cordero asado).
