Puebla de Sanabria is a city located in the extreme north-west of Zamora. Located at the top of a watchtower over the Tera River, it is the administrative center of the natural region of Sanabria of mountainous character and with many points of scenic, cultural and gastronomic interest.

Other towns of interest near Puebla are: Trefacio (Trefaciu), Galende, Vigo de Sanabria (Vigu), Ribadelago (Riballagu) and Sotillo de Sanabria (Soutiellu); From this last part, a route that will take us to some waterfalls that the Truchas River forms in its fall and that are a refreshing spectacle.
In addition, it is worth visiting the chestnut tree of San Román de Sanabria, the largest of the chestnut trees on the Iberian Peninsula.
