Parnu is a city in Estonia and its "summer capital".
getting there
Pärnu has two daily train connections from Tallinn. The travel time is 2.5 hours. There are timetables at Edelaraudtee.
There are road connections from Tallinn (128 km), Haapsalu (108 km), Tartu (174 km), Vändra, Paide (95 km) and Riga in Latvia.

There are ferry connections from Kihnu (a small island in the Baltic Sea) and between Pärnu and the island Ruhnu. In winter the sea is frozen over so that it can be used as a road.
