- Carretera Austral - also an adventure on a mountain bike. A route through rainforests, fjords and volcanic landscapes in the south Chile.
- Quebrada de Humahuaca in the North Argentina, combines colonial culture with an attractive multi-colored valley landscape. The disadvantage is the heavy traffic.
- Valle Calchaquí - is appreciated by more and more cyclists. Little traffic, spectacular mountains and trips in side valleys, ideal for mountain bikes.
