Paradise square is located on Mount St. Anna, before St. Anna.

Access

You can get to the square in three ways:

  • Stairs from the market square. This entrance ends with a gate from 1854.
  • "Ave Maria" steps from the main street.
  • Through the Papal Gate, rebuilt especially for the visit of Pope John Paul II on the St. Anna.

Appearance

The square is almost around it, surrounded by cloisters, under which there are several hundred-year-old confessionals. In the southern part of the Paradise Square there is a chapel of Our Lady of Fatima, while in the middle there is a sculpture depicting the scene of the crucifixion of Jesus. In the buildings around the square there is also a shop where you can buy souvenirs, candles, laces, prayer books, candles, etc.
