Ravenglass is a city in Lake District in Cumbria.

Ravenglass is a small coastal town in Cumbria and is also part of the Lake District National Park. Ravenglass' roots probably go back at least to the 2nd century, since it was known in Roman times as Glannoventa or Tunnocelum named place was naval base of the Roman troops, and thus at the same time southernmost access to the protective systems of the Hadrian's Wall.

The small town lies at the mouths of the Esk, Mite and Irt rivers, which merge here to form a wide estuary, and has a natural harbor.
