Ra's el-Barr (also Ras el-Bar, Arabic:رأس البر‎, Raʾs al-Barr, „the head of the mainland“) Is a place in egyptian Governorate Dumyāṭ on an island near the confluence of an arm of the Nile into the Mediterranean Sea.
