Central Black Sea region (in Turkish: Orta Karadeniz) is a region of the Turkey.

The region includes the provinces of Amasya, Çorum, Ordu, Samsun and Tokat.
Territories and tourist destinations
Urban centers
- Amasya - Home of the Greek geographer Strabo, Amasya is renowned for its location in a high-rock gorge formed by the Yeşilırmak River.
- Boğazkale - City near the archaeological site of Ḫattuša, which was once the capital of the Hittite Empire
- Ordu - Ordu is a modern city of 150,000 inhabitants lying on the sea and dedicated to the export of hazelnuts rather than tourism.
- Samsun - Locations with attractions such as the opera and several museums. There are also many sports, including wakeboarding in the summer.
- Tokat - historic city, with important historic buildings and monuments from the Seljuk and Ottoman periods.
- Çorum - Capital of the province of Çorum. But otherwise a rather insignificant provincial town.
- Ünye - Set in a pretty bay with a large beach surrounded by budget hotels.

- Alacahöyük - City with Hittite and pre-Hittite ruins.

Ancient capital of the Hittite empire in the late Bronze Age. Today very little remains except the rebuilt foundations. However, the city plan is still evident and walking around the ruins makes for an interesting and informative day.
