Ciosny nature reserve - floristic nature reserve located in Poland, in voivodeship of Lodz in you will say Zgierz, in Zgierz commune, North of Zgierz, in the immediate vicinity of the village Rosanówin the area Wysoczyzna Łaska. It was established by the order of the Minister of Forestry and Wood Industry in 1971. It is one of the smallest reserves in the voivodship - currently the area of ​​the reserve is approx. 2.5 ha. Jałowce in the Ciosny reserve

The reserve protects a unique concentration of extremely impressive junipers, about 160 years old, growing on inland sand dunes. It is a floristic reserve with a concentration of about 8,000 junipers. Some of them have a columnar habit with a single trunk growing out to a height of 5-6 meters, others have the form of wide, spreading clumps of several meters, made of many trunks.

Junipers are accompanied by dune vegetation, among others: brushless gray grass and spring spores.

A 9-kilometer pedestrian walk leads from the Old Market Square in Zgierz to the reserve Trail to Ciosny Reserve (green signs)
