Popień nature reserve - a floristic and forest reserve located in Poland, in voivodeship of Lodz, in in the district of Brzeziny, in the Jeżów commune.It was established by the order of the Minister of Forestry of May 12, 1954. One of the smaller reserves covers the area of ​​8.06 ha.

The reserve was established to preserve, for scientific and didactic reasons, a mixed forest occurring in a very diverse area in terms of ecology, with stands characteristic for individual habitat types. The oldest, 150 - 160-year-old pines, reached a height of over 30 m and a trunk circumference of 2-2.50 m. There are several dozen old pines in the entire reserve, most of which are withering. ash-alder forest (riparian forest). In the marshes, numerous woody ones deserve attention bird cherry.

There are about 200 species of vascular plants. The protected species grow here, among others: broadleaf helleborine, goldenhead lily and common ivy. Of the rare plant species, the following deserve attention: whorl, blackberry, Ascherson's cocksfoot and spring muskrat.
