Brzeziny poviat - poviat in Poland in voivodeship of Lodz, formed in 2001 from parts Eastern Lodz County.

The Brzeziny Poviat has an area of 358.56 km² and constitutes 1.97% of the area of the Łódzkie Voivodeship. It is located in the north-eastern part of the Łódzkie Voivodeship in the area of Łódzkie Hills and partly on the Łowicz – Błońska Plain. They are the capital of the poviat Brzeziny (12,569 inhabitants - 40.2% of the population) - municipal commune, the poviat consists of 4 rural communes of Brzeziny, Dmosin, Jeżów and Rogów.
According to the data of the Central Statistical Office, as of June 30, 2012, the poviat is inhabited by 30,980 inhabitants, which constitutes 1.225% of the voivodeship. Of these, there are 15 025 men, ie 48.5% of the population, 15 955 women; 12,569 inhabitants live in cities in total, including men 5,945 and women 6,624, i.e. the poviat's urbanization is 40.57%, in villages there are 18,411 inhabitants in total, including men 9,080 and women 9,331. Geography and nature
The rivers Mroga, Mrożyca, Rawka and Jeżówka flow through the area of the poviat. In its area there is a fragment of the Lodz Heights Landscape Park, the Mrogi and Mrożyca Protected Landscape Area, and the "Dolina Mrogi" nature and landscape complex.
Due to its mainly agricultural character, it is a sparsely populated area (85 people / km²) and does not have a large forest area, which covers only 13.5% of its territory.
