Coruche - Town famous for the running of the bulls which occurs every year on the occasion of the August festival dedicated to Nossa Senhora do Castelo.
Fatima - Famous for its Marian shrine, one of the most important in the world, linked to the apparitions of the Madonna in 1917 to three little shepherds (Lúcia dos Santos, Francisco Marto and Giacinta Marto).
Ourém - Town famous for the evocative ruins of the castle of the same name, built by the Knights Templar. The fortress stands in an isolated position on the banks of the Tagus and can only be reached by boat.

Almourol Castle

Almourol Castle. - Located in the middle of the Tagus River in Praia do Ribatejo, Vila Nova da Barquinha, rightfully falls into the list of Templar fortresses. Accessible only by boats. It is one of the most evocative medieval fortresses, despite its small size, thanks to its position and the integrity of the surrounding environment, far from inhabited centers.
