Rodenbach consists of the district Niederrodenbach im Kinzigtal and Oberrodenbach, which is already in Spessart lies. Today, Rodenbach is mainly a commuter community for people who work in Hanau or Frankfurt. But there is also a well-preserved medieval town center and some nice shops.

The 1 Rodenbach station (b Hanau) is served by regional trains on the Frankfurt-Wächtersbach route, regional express trains rush through here without stopping. It is not far from the train station to the town center; if you want to go to Oberrodenbach, you'd better wait for the bus that stops in front of the station.

The MKK-53 line runs as a diameter line across Niederrodenbach and is primarily used to connect to Hanau city center and Langenselbold station as the next RE station. The MKK-52 line is used for fine development within the village and connects, among other things. the train station with Oberrodenbach. There is no direct transfer option between the two lines.

- 1 Evangelical Church Niederrodenbach. Today's Protestant church in Niederrodenbach dates from the 18th century. The steeple is unusually high for a village church with 48 meters and marks the place from afar.
- 2 Catholic Church of St. Peter and Paul. Rodenbach is still divided into denominations today: Niederrodenbach is Protestant, Oberrodenbach is Catholic. There is a Catholic church from the 19th century in Oberrodenbach.
