Fort Rustaq
- 1 Fort Rustaq. A nice fort with two cannons placed at its entrance, allows you to turn inside to discover the architecture of the time. From the terrace you can enjoy the view of the city. Next to the entrance door is an aflaj, an active irrigation channel. It was nominated to be classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

- In the area near Rustaq you can visit several wadis (natural canyons in the Hajar mountains), for some sections with a simple car for others it is necessary to use the 4WD. In fact, there are Wadi Alhoqain, Wadi Sahtan, Wadi Bani Awf (see itinerary below), Wadi Bani Kharous, Wadi Hijir, Wadi Abydah and Wadi Mistal.
