Saint Vincent is the largest of the islands that make up the state of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

The insular coast can be divided into:
- West side, also called Leeward coast (Leeward coast)
- Eastern side, also called windward coast (windward coast)
Urban centers
- Fancy - Located at the northern end of the island, Fancy is the poorest village on the island and is inhabited by descendants of indigenous Caribs.
- Georgetown - Located on the windward coast.
- Kingstown - Capital of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Kingstown is located on a bay on the southwest coast, near the E. T. Joshua International Airport. It is a town of 30,000 inhabitants that has preserved a colonial-era atmosphere.
- Layou - A small town on the leeward coast.
Other destinations
- La Soufrière - The highest peak on the island of Saint Vincent, La Soufrière is a volcano of 1,234 m. overlooking the northern part of Saint Vincent. Its crater is occupied by a lake. The top can be reached by following paths that branch off from Sandy Bay, on the eastern side. The last, small eruption occurred in 1972, preceded by the much more ruinous one of May 7, 1902 which resulted in numerous victims.
- Petit Byahaut - 3 km from the capital, Petit Byahaut is a dark sand beach surrounded by dense tropical vegetation. Offshore there are small, dark coral formations.
- Sandy Bay - North of Georgetown, Sandy Bay is an area inhabited by descendants of indigenous Caribs. Sea currents and thunderous waves prevent bathing.
- Wallilabou Bay - Just beyond the end of the paved road, Wallilabou Bay is the place where scenes from the 2003 film "Pirates of the Caribbean" were filmed.

- Botanical Gardens (One kilometer north of Kingstown). , the botanical gardens were established in 1762, the oldest in the New World, preceded only by those of Philadelphia. They welcome trees and rare essences. Among these some specimens of breadfruit from the South Seas that were planted by Admiral William Bligh who, as commander of the ship "Bounty", had to face the famous mutiny.
