Salem is a city in Linzgau. Salem consists of approx. 12 suburbs and is 10 km from Lake Constance, more precisely the Überlinger See.

The Salem Minster, north facade

The foundation stone for the Salem monastery was laid in the 12th century. The former Cistercian monastery and today's 1 Salem Castle is a museum location, boarding school and residence of the Margraves of Baden.

Feuchtmayer Museum
