Samckhe-Javakheti - a region in the south Georgia, with the capital of St. Akhaltsikhe. Samkhe-Javakheti comprises six provinces: Akhaltsikhe, Adigeni, Aspindza, Borjomi, Akalkalaki and Ninocminda. The region is bordered by Guria and Imereti from midnight Lower Kartli and Inner Kartli from the northeast, Armenia and Turkey since noon, Ajaria from the west. Crude oil from Baku to Ceyhan and natural gas from Azerbaijan to Turkey pass through the region.
