Introduction
Saint Kitts and Nevis (in English: Saint Kitts and Nevis), officially the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis (Federation of Saint Cristopher and Nevis), is the smallest country in America, located in the northern part of the Lesser Antilles. It is located south of San Bartolome, Saba Y St. Eustace, to the north of Montserrat and west of Old and bearded. It is made up of two islands, which give this country its name.

Money
The country's currency is East Caribbean Dollar, denoted by the symbol: "$" or "EC $" (currency code ISO: XCD), which is also used by seven other Caribbean island nations. The EC dollar is subdivided into 100 cents. It is pegged to the United States dollar at an exchange rate of US $ 1 = EC $ 2.70.
The coins circulate in denominations of 1, 2, 5, 10 and 25 cents and 1 dollar. The banknotes circulate in denominations of 10, 20, 50 and 100 dollars.

Prices and Costs
Contrary to the myth that all Caribbean countries are expensive, prices in Nevis are quite reasonable. Fuel is expensive as it has to be imported, but since the island is small, it will not be used as much anyway. Many everyday items can be purchased reasonably priced, and depending on where you eat out, affordable for most. Fresh foods, although limited in options by American and British standards, are also reasonably priced.
