Saint Kitts and Nevis - San Cristóbal y Nieves

Introduction

Saint Kitts and Nevis (in English: Saint Kitts and Nevis), officially the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis (Federation of Saint Cristopher and Nevis), is the smallest country in America, located in the northern part of the Lesser Antilles. It is located south of San Bartolome, Saba Y St. Eustace, to the north of Montserrat and west of Old and bearded. It is made up of two islands, which give this country its name.

Understand

Once again, as was the custom in the Caribbean, Saint Kitts and Nevis changed hands several times between English and French, leaving the legacy of city names in these two countries. However, the architecture is very Anglo Saxon (Victorian style) with left hand drive and especially in the center of Basseterre - Circus Place reproduction of the 'Berkeley Memorial Clock'.

There are also several old British fortifications that have been meticulously restored and reproduce every detail of the original construction. Saint Kitts and Nevis is expected to develop in the near future, in fact, many ambitious projects are underway or at the end of the project, including a large development that can accommodate larger cruise ships with landing terminals, etc.

There are many tropical birds that are rarely found elsewhere, they are present in high concentration in the wild, and there are also famous monkeys that are said to have been introduced by pirates. A completely new path leads to the southeastern tip of St. Kitts (Turtlle Beach), where we feel a certain excitement in the air that will make this part of the island a popular spot. In fact, just venture into the undergrowth with a bit of fruit in hand to find yourself soon surrounded by monkeys gently coming to find you to be fed. For the inhabitants of the island, on the other hand, the monkeys are not perceived as such a great joy, because these little furry beings loot the crops and look for where they can go.

Prices and Costs

Contrary to the myth that all Caribbean countries are expensive, prices in Nevis are quite reasonable. Fuel is expensive as it has to be imported, but since the island is small, it will not be used as much anyway. Many everyday items can be purchased reasonably priced, and depending on where you eat out, affordable for most. Fresh foods, although limited in options by American and British standards, are also reasonably priced.
