Sappada Vecchia is a locality of Friuli Venezia Giulia.
To know
9 of the 15 villages of Sappada (Pill, Mühlbach, Cottern, Hoffe, Fontana, Kratten, Soravia, Ecche and Puiche) form the so-called Sappada Vecchia, of which it is possible to admire the ancient and typical houses (blockhaus) and wooden stables built with the so-called joining system of the beams blockbau. More isolated and characteristic is also the hamlet Cima Sappada, with numerous wooden cottages dating back to the nineteenth century.
Since 2017 Sappada Vecchia has joined the association Most beautiful villages in Italy.

- A27 Mestre-Belluno motorway: Longarone exit (Pian di Vedoia), then continue for Pieve di Cadore, Auronzo di Cadore and Sappada
- A28 Palmanova-Tarvisio motorway: Carnia / Tolmezzo exit; continue for SS 52, for Ovaro and Rigolato and Forni Avoltri up to Sappada.

- The nearest station is Calalzo di Cadore: take the bus directly to Sappada
