Tourist Attractions

  • Dom. The cathedral dates back to 1169 and was later redesigned in the baroque style.
  • Church of SS. Annunziata. The church in the Minuta district. Roman spolia are worked into the portal and in the crypt there are frescoes from around 1200 depicting a child miracle of St. Nicholas.
  • Benedictine convent. The former Benedictine convent in the Minuta district was bought and restored in 1908 by the Danish traveler Carl Wiinstedt to Italy. Today it enables Danish artists and scientists to study on the Amalfi Coast.
