  • New parish church. The old church turned out to be too small, which made it necessary to build a more spacious church. The proximity to the school, retirement home, sacristan's house and Widum were the decisive factors for the central location. After several arguments about planning and location, the design by the Viennese architect Eduard Hütter was approved and approved. Construction work was stopped as early as 1915 due to the outbreak of war, and due to the political change in South Tyrol, construction could not be continued until 1926.
  • Old parish church. In the 12th / 13th This church was built in the Romanesque style in the 16th century and completely redesigned in the 16th century, since then little has been changed structurally. The baroque high altar with the statues of Saints Franz Xavier and Johann Nepomuk was built around 1730 and redesigned in 1819. In addition to the four altars there are also valuable individual sculptures such as the late Gothic St. Sebastian and the baroque St. John the Baptist. The stations of the cross date from the middle of the 18th century.
  • Martinskirche. It dates from the 12th century and is the oldest architectural monument in Schenna. The church was built according to Carolingian standards, has two aisles, each with a round apse and two central octagonal pillars.
  • Church of St. George. The St. Georg church in the St. Georgen district dates from the 12th / 13th centuries. This original round church used to be the chapel of St. Georgen or Alt-Schenna Castle. When lightning almost completely destroyed half of the church in 1591, the interior of the church was reinforced with a central pillar. The frescoes from the 14th century are very well preserved and the martyrdom of St. George, the Last Judgment and the legend of St. Nicholas. The Gothic winged altar shows St. George on horseback fighting the dragon.

The burial chapel stands on an artificial terrace on the western edge of the church hill and is one of the earliest and undoubtedly one of the most successful sacred buildings in the neo-Gothic style.
  • Schenna Castle. The mighty building of Schenna Castle above Merano is surrounded by a moat that is still partially visible. A bridge leads to the entrance gate of the castle and past the castle dungeon into the inner courtyard. There an open staircase leads to the castle chambers. The originally furnished castle also houses one of the most extensive weapon collections in Tyrolean castles, the largest private Andreas Hofer collection, paintings, portraits and precious objects from the property of Archduke Johann, who acquired the castle in 1845. The castle with the mausoleum (burial place of the archducal family) and Thurnerhof (agriculture and tavern) has been owned by the descendants of Archduke Johann, the Counts of Merano, since 1859 and is still inhabited by the family today.
