the International Appalachian Trail is a route from Katahdin Lake in the Baxter State Park to Maine to United States up to Crow head on the island of Newfoundland to Canada.
Understand
The International Appalachian Trail was for a long time limited to the passing part of the Maine to New Brunswick and ending at the tip of the Gaspesie to Quebec. It is thereafter that the other parts in New Scotland, at thePrince Edward Island and on the island of Newfoundland have been added. Many hikers limit themselves to the portion from Maine to Gaspé or only do portions of the trail at a time.
the Appalachian trail continues crossing the mountain range on the east coast of United States from Mount Katahdin in Maine to Mount Springer in Georgia on 3 510 km. In addition, other international chapters have been added to the International Appalachian Trail in Greenland and in Europe including theIceland, the Faroe Islands, the Norway, the Sweden, the Denmark, the Netherlands, the'England, the'Scotland, the'Ireland, the'Isle of man, the Wales, the France, the'Spain and the Portugal. Indeed, the goal is to create a path crossing all the mountain ranges which once formed a single massif with the Appalachians.
