Urban centers

  • Xi'an (西安; Xī'ān) - City of 3,300,000 inhabitants, the capital of Shaanxi province is one of the most interesting in the China from a tourist point of view. Its fame is mainly linked to the archaeological discovery of the "terracotta army", funeral equipment of Qin Shi Huang, first Chinese emperor who lived between 260 and 210 BC.
  • Baoji (宝鸡; Bǎojī) - Located on the Silk Road on the Wei River.
  • Hanzhong (漢中; Hànzhōng) - It was the center of sovereignty of the Han dynasty.
  • Shenmu (神木; Shénmù) - Garrison town on the Great Wall of China at the time of the Ming Dynasty.
  • Tongchuan (铜川; Tóngchuān) - The ruins of Yaozhou Kiln, the remains of Yuhua Palace, and many other rare historical relics are attracting tourists.
  • Xianyang (咸阳; Xiányáng) - It was the capital of China during the Qin dynasty.
  • Yan'an (延安; Yán'ān) - Famous for being the culmination of the Long March and main center of the Chinese Communist Party. Nicknamed the "cradle of the revolution".
  • Yulin (榆林; Yúlín) - A garrison town on the Great Wall of China at the time of the Ming Dynasty, located on the southern edge of the Ordos Desert.
