Silvaplana is a place in Upper Engadine in the canton Grisons.

The municipality of Silvaplana consists of three districts, the center of 1 Silvaplana and the two hamlets 2 Surlej and 3 Champfèr; however, the local area of Champfèr is through the Suvrettabach / Ova da Suveretta separated, only the western part belongs to Silvaplana, the eastern part across the stream to St. Moritz.

By train / bus

In the summer, Lake Silvaplana (Lej da Silvaplauna) invites you to enjoy various sports such as sailing, surfing (2 Surf center) and kite surfing. In winter, the frozen lake is used extensively by cross-country skiers and kite surfers (with skis or snowboards instead of surfboards).
