Midwestern United States (Midwest) is a geographic region of the United States of America.

The Midwest is that region of the United States of America also known as "Heart of America" with reference to the primary role played by this area in the industrial field. The Midwest has given birth to several US presidents as well as world-famous inventors and entrepreneurs especially in the field of automobile and aircraft manufacturing and steel production to limit ourselves to only a few sectors.
