The first train that arrived at the Verona Porta Nuova station in 1852 was the one pulled by the "Verona" locomotive, which left Venice, and which was able to cross the Adige thanks to the construction of the new railway bridge.

FromVerona-Villafranca Airport
The airport is located about 10 kilometers from the city center, heading south-west. A service is available ATV Airlink shuttle bus from the airport to the Porta Nuova railway station and vice versa.
