L'Verona-Villafranca airport (IATA: VRN) is an Italian airport located between the territories of Villafranca of Verona, in the hamlet of Dossobuono, and of Sommacampagna, in the hamlet of Boxes. It is about 12 km from the city center of Verona.

The airport operates in the service of one of the most important districts in Europe. At the center of an area that includes the provinces of Brescia, Mantua, Rovigo, Vicenza, Trento, Bolzano is Verona and which, with about four million inhabitants, reaches 12% of the gross domestic product. The airport is managed by the company Valerio Catullo Airport S.p.A., which also manages theGabriele D'Annunzio Airport of Brescia-Montichiari.
Flights
The airport saw the decisive landing of low cost airlines in 2007. Starting from winter 2014, the Italian charter company Neos established its main maintenance base in the airport hangar, also expanding its long-haul flight range. The Irish company Ryanair, after closing all flights in 2012, returns to Verona airport with new routes from 1 April 2015, to Brussels (Zaventem), Palermo is London.
