List of main airports Serbs divided by region. Aviation in Serbia is not currently much directed towards international traffic, but conversion operations are taking place on various fronts. The nation is full of airports and terminals dedicated to general aviation or recreation.

Belgrade

• 44.81938320.3070671 Nikola Tesla International Airport (IATA: BEG) (12 km west from Belgrade), ☎ 381 112094000. It is the main airport of the nation, both for size and for passenger traffic, moreover, it is one of the most significant airports in the Balkans. Among the various airlines operating, which can also be consulted here with all the information to contact them, mainly national flag companies appear, but also low cost ones. Among the routes offered for Italy, we find flights to Milan-Malpensa, Venice is Rome-Fiumicino offered by WizzAir, Air Serbia is Alitalia.  

Podunavlje

• 43.33728921.8537222 Niš-Constantine the Great Airport (IATA: INI) (4 km northwest of Niš), ☎ 381 184583336, @[email protected]. It is the second most important airport in Serbia and due to its central location it is frequently used as an alternate airport for direct flights to numerous other neighboring Serbian and international cities, including Belgrade, Podgorica, Tivat, Sofia, Skopje is Ohrid. Here the companies operate WizzAir, Air Serbia, Swiss is Ryanair. These offer flights from Milan-Orio al Serio, Bologna is Rome, but on the airline websites you can check the expected routes. Furthermore, here you can consult the contacts of the companies mentioned above in relation to Niš airport, in order to have up-to-date and clear information about flights to this airport.

From the city of Niš there are two bus lines that connect the airport and these are line 34A and 34B. A ticket costs 60 dinars (0.51 €) and can be purchased directly on the bus.  

Podrinje

It is a military airport that has however for some time been in the spotlight of various international investors, especially Chinese, for a conversion into a minor international airport. To date, there are no scheduled flights to this airport, but an international offer could be feasible in the future, perhaps even to Italy.  

Šumadija

• 43.81861120.5852784 Morava International Airport (IATA: KVO) (Kraljevo), ☎ 381 36307063, @[email protected]. Divided into two terminals, one civilian and one dedicated to military aviation, it is an international airport with an unclear definition without many destinations. These are mainly regional although there is a flight to Vienna.  

Vojvodina

It is mainly a flight academy that offers lessons and courses for pilots, but also gives individuals the opportunity to land with their own aircraft. The airport gained International status in 2006 after flying to Podgorica and every year it hosts the "Vršac Air Show".  

Kosovo

Given the ambiguous political condition regarding the independence of Kosovo and the recognition of this by the Italian State, for more information on the country, refer to the article Airports in Kosovo. In any case, since this tourist region is also formally of Serbia, only the most important airport is reported here.

Most of the air connections are made to cities in Germany, Sweden, Norway and Finland, while with Italy, a single direct flight is offered from Milan-Malpensa on behalf of the low cost company WizzAir.
