Northeastern Albania
- 1 Kukës International Airport (Kukës). To date, the airport is still under construction and the start of operations is scheduled for 2021, mainly on behalf of low-cost airlines.
- 2 Shkodra airport (Shkodra). It was a military airport during the Second World War.
Southeastern Albania
In this region there are no international airports, only airports for domestic destinations.
- 3 Gjirokaster Airport (Gjirokaster).
- 4 Korçë airport. It was originally a military airport used during the Italian invasion of Albania.
Coast of Albania
- 5 Tirana International Airport (IATA: TIA) (Tirana), ☎ 355-42381800, @[email protected]. As of 2020 it represents the only international airport ofAlbania. The national airline operated there Air Albania with frequent flights also from Italian cities. Other airlines that in 2020 operated flights from Italian airports were:
- 6 Vlore International Airport (Valona). As with Kukës airport, this is still under construction and the start of operations is scheduled for 2023.
- 7 Saranda airport (Saranda).
