Larnaca district

Here was the Nicosia International Airport, in the twentieth century the main airport of Cyprus, but abandoned in the 1970s following the Turkish invasion of Cyprus. This is now only used by theUNFICYP and a reopening of this is not foreseen, since Paphos and Larnaca fully satisfy the country's aerial needs.
