Sucre is one of the federated states Venezuelans of the Northeast Venezuela.
To know
It has some of the best and least frequented beaches in the country.
Its name derives from Antonio José de Sucre, hero of the South American wars of independence.
Geographical notes
It is located in the northern part of the country and is bordered to the north by the Caribbean Sea, to the south by the states of Anzoátegui and of Monagas, to the east with the Atlantic Ocean and to the west with the state of Anzoátegui.

- Cumaná - Capital of the Federated State of Sucre.
- Carúpano - The second largest city in the federal state.
- Cumanacoa - Mountain town founded in 1617.
- Güiria - Important port city rich in revolutionary history.
- Río Caribe - Notice how the City of the Masters of Cocoa. Its church is one of the best examples of colonial architecture Spanish.

- El Guácharo National Park - Shared with the State of Monagas, famous for its cave (Cueva del Guácharo).
