By plane
The airport of Cody (IATA: COD) is the closest. The other closest airport is that of Casper (IATA: CPR).
By car
Thermopolis straddles a north-south highway with two designations: US Route 20 and Wyoming State Route 789. Wyoming State Route 120 starts at Cody and ends in Thermopolis.
How to get around
Thermopolis is a small town that can be explored on foot, but if you want to travel in style, use a horse and buggy. the society Wyoming Carriage and Taxi (tel. 1 866 646-2723), organizes horse-drawn carriage tours in the city during the summer months.

There are several commercial operations that use the waters with varying degrees of expedient, but in addition, the city maintains a free bathhouse (under the terms of the treaty under which a local Indian tribe ceded access to the spring in the 19th century ) and open to the public during the day.
