Thollon-les-Mémises is a middle mountain village-resort in Haute-Savoie, located near Evian-les-Bains, in the Alps from the north, in the country of Gavot of the French Chablais. Its privileged panoramic site has earned it praise from the Michelin guide, which describes it as "the most beautiful observatory on Lake Geneva". Located at 1 000 m of altitude, it is easily accessible in all seasons. It is labeled "Station Verte" and "Village de Neige".
