What see

  • Sanctuary of Santa Maria del Roseto (in the locality of Madonna delle Rose). The construction of the sanctuary took place in 1550 as reported by the architrave of the main portal. It has recently undergone a restoration. The Renaissance façade has a gabled profile with a convex sloping crown. At the center of the roof there is a bell gable. The façade is completely plastered and the only stone pieces are the elevation under the portal, the cornerstones, the bell gable and the small windows on the sides of the portal. The interior has a single room divided into two by two bays; one section has the functions of a raised presbytery, with the main altar made entirely of stucco painted in imitation of marble. In a niche there is a statue of the Madonna and Child.
  • Hermitage of San Rinaldo (Fallascoso district). It was built in front of the cave where San Rinaldo lived in the 19th century. The bell tower is made with a natural rock pinnacle and is made directly with the rock that supports the bell.
  • Church of San Nicola (in the Fallascoso district). It dates back to the 18th century when it was built on the ruins of a medieval palace of which a portal with an ogival arch remains on the main facade. The architectural style of the building dates back to the 19th century, when the church was rebuilt or restored after an unknown calamity. The main gabled façade faces the town and the bell tower towards the Maiella. Above the portal there are two single lancet windows. The portal has jambs with classic decorations. The interior has three naves with endonarthex. All the walls are stuccoed in the late Baroque style.
Church of San Giacomo
  • Church of San Giacomo. It is located in the upper part of the historic center, and is in Renaissance style. Nothing is known for certain about its construction. Partially destroyed after the last world war, the church underwent a drastic restoration. A tympanum crowns the facade. Three portals give access to the respective naves. The bell tower is decorated with a frame, the upper register is characterized by a single lancet window on each side. The naves are separated by pillars against which pilasters are attached. The stuccos are white and gold.
  • Church of San Camillo, Via Bellini. It is a privately owned church. The style of the facade suggests that it was built between the 17th and 18th centuries. The large window overlooking the portal is in Baroque style as well as the choir of the church. The façade has a gabled profile and angular red bricks. The crowning consists of a triangular tympanum. The portal is framed by pilasters. The interior has a single nave with a ribbed vault while the walls are stuccoed in blue and white squares.
  • Church of San'Agata, on the road leading to Roccascalegna (in the Colle Zingaro district). It was built immediately after World War II. The Saint is depicted on the lunette above the portal.
  • Persichetti Palace, Corso Umberto I. It is a three-storey noble palace built between the 19th and 20th centuries. The restorations after the Second World War have maintained the original style. The external walls are made with bricks in the rusticated style. The frames of the portals follow the piers. The cornice is slightly protruding. At the corners there are pilasters.
  • Fallascoso Palace (in the Fallascoso district). It has traces of sentry boxes at the corners.
  • New Source (along the Peligna provincial road). Monumental fountain built at the end of the 19th century near a natural water source.
  • Fonte Sant'Agata (in the Via Comunale Torricella-Roccascalegna near the homonymous church). Monumental fountain built at the end of the nineteenth century by the devotees of Sant'Agata. It is also called Source of the Sese - in Italian "Fonte delle Tette" - since the saint is patroness against breast diseases. For this reason, in ancient times the women of Torricella Peligna who had a poor milk production frequented this fountain and invoked the help of Sant'Agata.
  • Fountain of the Coste. This fountain also dates back to the nineteenth century and collects the waters coming from the source of the Coste. It has decorations with classic frames and stones depicting rosettes. The wash house was added in the thirties.
  • Rose Garden Fountain. At the Strada Comunale delle Rose.
  • Source of Purgatory (in the municipal road of the same name). In ancient times the fountain was used to wash the shorn wool that was brought to the wool mills of Taranta Peligna.
  • The source (on the Via Comunale La Fontana). It was built between the 19th and 20th centuries. It has rosette decorations and a mask.
  • Museum. Recently opened, it preserves finds from the Roman city of Juvanum, Ostrogothic material and an eighteenth-century mummy found during restoration work in the parish church.
