Town Hall
- 10 Town Hall (former Palazzo Pretorio), Giacomo Matteotti square. The palace, including the tower, dates back to the 13th century, but many changes and renovations have been made to date. It is the symbol of local power. In 1266 it housed the administrative seat of the podestà then in office and it has remained today the administrative seat of the local government with its offices; moreover, a splendid theater has been created on the ground floor.

Porta Nova
- 11 Porta Nova. Opened in 1836, years in which Gaudenzo Batignani held the role of treasurer (i.e. administrator of the income of the community of Torrita), it is the most recent of the doors in the historic center of Torrita di Siena. The Contrada takes its name from the door in its correspondence, in which one of the residences of the dictator of the Sienese Republic Pandolfo Petrucci rises, dating back to the sixteenth century, in which he used to withdraw or hide from the conflicts that arose within his government.

Door to Pag
- 12 Door Gavina. It dates back to 1208, after the peace between Siena and Florence was stipulated. Originally a corresponding antiport was built, of which some remains can be seen today. Among the episodes related to the monument there is the execution in 1554 of an old inhabitant of Torrita, Nencia, who at the fall of the village under the Sienese dominion, refused to submit to the government of the conquerors and was, for this reason, nailed to the wood of this door.
- 13 Door to Pag. Its origins most likely date back to the 13th century and it is included in the best preserved area of the historic center. The three hundred arquebusiers who made up the Sienese garrison in the sixteenth century, placed in defense of Torrita in one of its last battles, fled from this gate, abandoning the city to its defeat.
- 14 Door to Sole. Eastern entrance to the castle (hence the name). Here ended, and lost, the last battle against the imperial army, commanded by the Poliziano Vincenzo Nobili.
- Ancient cistern, piazza Matteotti. It had the function of supplying water along the entire perimeter of the town and is located at the intersection of the four roads that lead to the city gates, but also a center of civil and religious interaction of the local inhabitants. The cistern is now clearly visible in the center of the square and, therefore, of the town, and is surrounded by the oldest and most important buildings in Torrita, including the thirteenth-century Palazzo Comunale.
