Trebur is a municipality on the Rhine in South Hesse.
background
Trebur is located on the Rhine floodplains away from the major traffic routes. The historic old town with around 300 half-timbered houses is part of the German half-timbered street.
In addition to the core city, Astheim and Geinsheim also belong to Trebur. The fourth district, Hessenaue, has achieved a certain "fame" because the site was laid out by the National Socialists in the form of a swastika, which can still be seen very clearly on maps and aerial photographs.

The next train stations are in Ruesselsheim and Gross-Gerau. Would be even closer Nauheim, from there there is only one taxi to Trebur, so arriving via the train station is not recommended.
By bus
Line 22 runs between Groß-Gerau and Rüsselsheim every hour and crosses Trebur. During the week there are repeater buses from Rüsselsheim to Trebur (line 24) and from Groß-Gerau to the Geinsheim district.

- 1 Laurentiuskirche, Upper gate 24. The Laurentiuskirche emerged from a former palatine chapel and its core dates back to the 11th century, making it one of the oldest preserved church buildings and one of the few preserved buildings from this era.
