Tzaneen is a city in the province Limpopo in South Africa.

Tzaneen is located in the Lowveld in the valley of the Letaba River and is surrounded by the Drakensberg at the Magoebaskloof Pass. The region in the Lowveld is fertile, tropical fruits are grown, there are avocados, mangoes, but also tea plantations. The forests are used for forestry, mostly fast-growing pines or eucalyptus trees are grown.
