Urals (Ураяльские гольно = ралл, or Ural Mountains) is a region of the Russia.
To know
Geographical notes
The region is characterized by the presence of the mountain range of the same name, about 1800 km long, which crosses Russia longitudinally from the Arctic Ocean to the Kazakhstan. The highest mountains are located in the north, in the area called the Polar Urals, where Mount Narodnaja (literally Mount of the people) but it is an almost inhospitable area due to the harsh climate and certainly not as developed as the southern part of the region. In addition to vast mountainous areas, this region has a lot to offer, especially in naturalistic terms given the massive presence of different rivers, lakes and natural environments.Geographically this range divides the Sarmatic lowland from the western Siberian lowland and marks the northern part of the traditional border between L'Europe and theAsia. They are mountains of ancient geological formation and therefore are not very high. Its highest peak is Mount Narodnaja (or Poznurr, 1895m).
Spoken languages
The Russian is the official language everywhere, even if theEnglish it is spreading among young people and in industries but don't expect to meet people to communicate with in English. You will need to learn a few key phrases in Russian and the Cyrillic alphabet to be able to orient yourself even with just the signs. In the south, where some autonomous republics are located, other minority languages are also spoken, such as Udmurt.
