Vantaa (SwedishVanda) is the fourth largest city of Finland, but is often considered a suburb of Helsinki in Southern Finland perceived. Helsinki International Airport is located in Vantaa.

Vantaa is made up of seven districts: Myyrmäki, Kivistö, Aviapolis, Tikkurila, Koivukylä, Korso and Hakunila. These city districts are also subdivided into a total of 61 city districts.

By plane
All domestic and foreign flights land on the modern Helsinki-Vantaa Airport in Vantaa. International and domestic terminals are separate, but connected by a footpath.

The cheapest connection from the airport to Helsinki is the bus line 615, which takes about 40 minutes to the main station and costs 4.00 euros, departure in the opposite direction at bus platform 10 (at Rautatientori, on which the Kivi monument is) about all 20 minutes. Finnair offers buses to the hotels for € 5.90 (as of 02/2009).

Six arterial roads from Helsinki run through the urban area of Vantaa, the highways to Hämeenlinna (Hämeenlinnanväylä), Tuusula (Tuusulanväylä), Lahti (Lahdenväylä) and Porvoo (Porvoonväylä), the road to Vihti (Vihdintäylä), and the eastern arterial road (Itäväylä). All of the aforementioned roads are connected by Ring Road III (Kehä III), which surrounds Helsinki in a semicircle.

- Pyhan Laurin kirkko Helsingin pitäjän kirkko, Kirkkotie 45. A medieval stone church from the 15th century.
- 2 Myyrmies kirkko, Uomatie 1 (in Myyrmäki). Myyrmäki Church, built in 1984, cubist both inside and out.
