Corner points of the route
trier - Echternach, approx. 70 km
Of trier the route leads straight along from Moselle and Angry to Echternacherbrück or Echternach.
Echternach - Luxembourg city, approx. 50 km
From here it goes on a hilly path (moderate to slight inclines in both directions) to Luxembourg City, the capital of the state of the same name Luxembourg.
The Velo-Initiative Luxemburg shows different ways of getting through Luxemburg on cycle paths.[1]
Luxembourg city - Thionville, approx. 50 km
South from Luxembourg is at Thionville reached the Moselle again.
Thionville - Metz, approx. 70 km
The route accompanies the river to above Metz.
Metz - Sarralbe
The path now leads in a wide arc via Dieuze Saar alb to the French Saar.
Sarralbe - trier
From here it goes on Saar cycle path back to trier.
