Victory[1] is the capital of Holy Spirit. Having the best HDI among the capitals of the Southeast, and the 4th largest among all cities in the Brazil, a Honey Island, as it is known, is an example of quality of life.

History
Founded in 1551, it is the third oldest capital in the Brazil, after savior it's from Recife. For a long time, it was just a "port city", suffering several French, British and Dutch attacks. This name is given to the city for the victory over the Indians of the region, when, seeking refuge, the Portuguese fled to the island, and then they achieved victory, renaming the village, until then known as "Vila Nova", to "Vila Nova da Vitória". The city has several nicknames, such as Honey Island, Sun City and others.

It is located in the Southeast region of Brazil. Surrounded by Vitória Bay, the main island has mangroves, beaches, granite formations and several other smaller islands around it. The municipality of Vitória is formed by an archipelago with 34 islands and a continental area. Its total area is 104.26 km², including the main island, the mainland, the coastal islands and the oceanic islands of Trindade and Martim Vaz. Before there were more than 50 islands, but now many of them have been incorporated, through landfills, into the main island. The highest point in the city is the Maciço da Fonte Grande, a granite formation measuring 308.8m, and there is the Pedra dos (Dois) Olhos, with 296 meters. The climate is tropical humid, with an average maximum of 30.4ºC, or 87°F and a minimum of 24°C, or 75°F, with greater rainfall in the months between October and January.

By airplane
the airport of Victory (VIX in IATA code) is located close to points of interest, close to Camburi beach. There are several hotels near the airport, many within a 10-minute taxi ride, which is powered by bus lines to almost all locations in Victory. There are daily flights to almost everywhere in the country. Today, the airport is being expanded to become international for passengers, and not just for cargo as it is today.
By bus
The Vitória bus station is located in the city center and has lines to the most varied cities in the country. During the day several buses leave and arrive from cities like Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Salvador, Brasilia and other large Brazilian centers. It takes approximately 20 minutes by taxi to reach most hotels and 30 to 40 minutes by bus. Bus trips between Brazilian capitals are usually long, due to the size of the country. The closest capital to Vitória is Rio de Janeiro, which is just over 500km away. Vitória can be reached from Rio de Janeiro by bus in 8 hours on average, and from São Paulo in 14 hours. Also, most journeys are made at night, making the journey less tiring and saving time.
By train
the train station Pedro Nolasco is located in the city of cariacica (Greater Vitória) and is connected to the city of Belo Horizonte, in the state of Minas Gerais. By car
Two main roads connect Vitória to the rest of the country:
- BR-101, which crosses the country in a north-south direction, connects Vitória to Rio de Janeiro, to the south, and to Salvador, to the north.
- BR-262, in the east-west direction, connects Vitória to Belo Horizonte.

Look
- Be sure to visit the Convent of Penha, which is located in the neighboring municipality of Vila Velha. From the Convent, you can see the city of Vitória and Vila Velha. Departing Vitória by taxi, ask the driver to make the way to the Convent via Terceira Ponte. By car, when crossing the Third Bridge towards Vitória-Vila Velha, just take the first right and continue following the signs towards the Convento. Going through Nossa Senhora da Penha Avenue, better known as Reta da Penha, towards the Center and through the Third Bridge, you will have beautiful views of the Convent.

- Municipal Park of Fazendinha - Park with the idea of being a rural and bucolic space. It has several domestic animals such as sheep, goats, cows, ponies, rabbits, guinea pigs, and poultry. There is also a playground and a pond with fish, turtles and tortoises. It is possible to take carriage rides and pony rides. The main access to the park is on Rua Eugênio Pacheco de Queiroz, in Jardim Camburí. Opening hours are from Tuesday to Sunday from 6 am to 6 pm. drink and go out
In Vitória there are several places to drink and go out to enjoy life. One of them is the Triângulo das Bermudas located at Praia do Canto; another great place are the kiosks on the edge of Camburi Beach, whether by day or night, it is always a great option. Another attractive place for nightlife is Rua da Lama, located in the district of Jardim da Penha, also close to the Federal University of Espírito Santo.
A place with great beers (imported and domestic), good music (jazz, MPB, chorinho) and great food (German and Brazilian) is Wunderbar Kaffee, located on Av.
