Bach Ma National Park located in Hue, Vietnam, away from the city Hue 40 km. This national park covers an area of 22,030 hectares, mainly located on two districts of Phu Loc and Nam Dong in Thua Thien-Hue province. Bach Ma Peak with an altitude of 1,450 m above sea level is the highest peak of the park.

The topography of the national park is prominent by the mountains running in the west-east direction with many peaks over 1000m high. Geology includes granite, sandstone, quartz, and gneiss.
Flora and Fauna
The main forest type in this park is lowland evergreen forest distributed at altitudes below 900m and lowland evergreen forest distributed at altitudes above 900m. The predominant habitat is bare land with grass and shrubs.
Bach Ma National Park has 16,900 hectares of forest, with 1,406 species of plants, of which more than 30 species are rare and endangered. There are 83 species of mammals, 333 species of birds and many species of reptiles and amphibians.
Climate
The climate in the summer is from 18 to 23oC and the rainy season lasts from September to January next year with the heaviest rainfall. Vietnam, 8000mm/year.

From Hue city, follow National Highway 1A towards Danang About 40 km, before going to Hai Van tunnel, turn into a small road to Bach Ma National Park located right next to Cau Hai market, continue about 3 km you will reach the main entrance to the garden.
